I had boy, girl, boy, boy (but almost 5 year gap!) girl

I'm interested in this section too.

I have five:

DS1 - 16, about to do his GCSEs
DS2 - 14
DD1 - 11
DD2 - 8
DD3 - 6 in two weeks.

Isn't it cool that I had 2 boys followed by 3 girls? - very convenient for bedroom sharing etc.

Hi all, Hope you enjoying Easter weekend. We have just done all our planting, and now littlies are playing Transformers in sitting room while dh is desperately trying to watch the footie.Bless him.

My 13 yr old spends hardly any time with us anymore, and if she does ,it normally means she has a friend or 2 in tow, so we could have anything from 4 to 7 at any one time.

She draws the line at going into town with us though, do any of you have that effect on your older kids. ?
Me and dh asked the younger ones, (including the 10yr old) if they would like a little brother or sister soon, and they all said yes, I was surprised. Eldest dd, says she will leave home...., we live in hope!!! (not really before I get slated)

magnolia have WONDERFUL time, get the alka seltzer ready, I shall be disappointed if you do not get happily pissed! And no talking about the kids all evening!

Well today I have NO KIDS

1st time in nearly 2 years that I will get a full nights sleep.

We have shipped them out in different directions, dd1 has gone to a friends, dd2 and dd4 are at dh's mums, dd3 is at dh's sisters and ds1 is at my mums. Its the first time I have been away from ds1 (he is 15 months) hoping my boobs are ok as he is still b/f. He has only ben gone an hour but missing him already

Dh is cooking dinner, we have beer and champayne and a pub down the road

It's great to know there are others with big families. I only know one other family around here with four.

I do that all the time too kitty trouble is dh reckons I never hear anything he says, and we have rows as he tells me he told me something and I can't remember hearing him say anything!

and my dad says he knows when we have arrived at his as he can hear the radio outside of the car as it is up so loud!

or the masking tape.
i find wax ear plugs and a loud volume on the radio works a treat .
I have actually now got really good at selective hearing. I am able to completely shut out noise next to me, including dp

and the loud hailer wasnt loud enough!

my pelvic floor got hammered with #1, so I don't think any amount of babies for me would have made any difference.

but then, i never got stretch marks with any of mine, so I guess I have had a trade off in that respect.

waist never suffered either, but I stopped at five, so there was my saving grace

Actually it was number six that trashed my nethers, I'd been doing pretty well until fat head arrived!!! Actually his head was big but presentation was rubbish!

This is the first time that I have had a 2 year old without being pregnant. Uncharted territory... For now I am pleased with the idea of four and seldom feel broody. (The fact that we have moved through 4 countries in that two years is likely an influencing factor.)

Hot dinner and a hot cup of tea are fading memories here as well though I have to say that the older three are very capable of cutting and spreading themselves so the end could be in sight for me. Now if only I could get them all to enjoy eating the same things...

We drive a huge van and are often teased about the fact that there is still an empty seat...

We have a mercedes vito traveliner, 9 seats, it's fab. I was dead scared when we first got it though, it seemed sooooo huge!!

oh, I still don;t get hot dinner........DH gulps his down while I am sorting out the sauces/cutting up/extra cuttlery for those invariably dropped/mopping up spilt drinks, and then I get to eat! one day I wil eat it while hot I am sure

as for cars, toyota previa I guess for those with 6, and mini bus or 2 MPV for those with more....?????

what cars do all those with more than 5 have? would say that that is one of the main reasons we have stopped, that and space in the house......

lol a hot cup of coffee - what's that? likewise dinner most of the time! by the time i have sorted out everyone else and fed lo, mine is always cold!
