Why are you making fun of someone's appearance with your logo change

Can I ask why you've changed the logo to be big ears to poke fun at King Charles?

I'm not a royalist but I don't think making fun of someone like this for their appearance is really fair.

I'm on the app and hadn't seen this. So mean spirited but also just plain odd. Can't believe anyone would allow that "design" (using the word in the loosest possible sense because it's really poorly executed) to be live on the site. Horrible mocking of a person, and I'm not a royalist just a human being who thinks you don't shame others for physical features they have no control over.

Well I for one thinks it’s fine and people should get a grip! KC is the first person to enjoy a good laugh so would likely find it funny to be featured on Mumsnet in this way.

It’s not very nice is it? The crown is fair enough, but the ears need to go. It just feels like mocking someone for something that can’t be helped

I am not remotely a fan of the monarchy, but having received a 'warning' email from mnhq last week about some of my posts "not being in the spirit", and basically telling me to 'be kind', the hypocrisy is screamingly apparent here.

Came to see if there was a thread on site stuff, it's bloody immature and really fucking rude. I'm honestly very surprised that it was not only suggested but that at no point did anyone else involved stop and say errm that's not ok and instead everyone agreed it was acceptable!
