If it was impossible to come up with a logo change without a derogatory aspect,
(spoiler it wasn't- the crown would have been fine) then don't have one.
I doubt anyone would have noticed or cared if they hadnt changed it!

I genuinely didn't know there were so many po-faced professionally offended people in the world. Charles Windsor is known for his ears as an immediate identifying feature in political cartoons etc. World leaders and politicians past and present are always lampooned in this way, as they should be - Johnson, May, Blair, Sunak, Major, Thatcher and Elizabeth Windsor, Biden, Merkel, Trump, Macron et al. I’m a quasi-Republican - like the clothes and bling, hate the unearned privilege, not sure I’d trust any government to replace them with something sensible. I don’t have any strong liking for Charlie-boy. But ffs, the man can’t help his ears! And speaking as someone who was bullied at school for my appearance - ‘hilarious’ jokes like this hurt. And no, he won’t see it. But others will.

Well this is it. Posters saying how funny it is, wouldn't be laughing if it was taking the piss out of someone missing a limb, in a wheelchair, obese etc. By keeping this logo, it's showing it's okay to take the piss out of someone's appearance.

The issue mnhq now have is the night watch can’t delete rhe threads, more will just pop up, and this is likely going to hit the media, about how the users were offended about mnhq talking the piss out of someone’s physical features

overall this is a lose lose. I’m sure there will be a statement saying no offence was meant, we will remove the ears, etc as soon as whomever can do that gets out their pit.

MNHQ so hypocritical it’s ridiculous. I’ve been using the site less and less due to their policing and ‘not in the spirit of the site’ business constantly. Than this openly mocking someone based on appearance.
