Am getting it too. Am pretty good at mentally filtering out crap I don’t need to know so I wouldn’t actually be able to tell you what the ads are for (which kind of defeats the purpose).

Same here, it’s extremely irritating. Not just random ads, but all sorts , even on the active convo list.

I've cleared my cache. Hasn't worked. I'm getting multiple ads. Will be going off MN if this carries on as with my phone keyboard and the ad there's no room and I can't see what I'm writing. Super annoying.

Same here, it's multiple ads.

It's to do with how mumsnet have set things up and they obviously CBA to fix it.

After coming on a similar thread I think a year ago I downloaded a free ad blocker and that solved most of it for me (touch wood). I still see the direct marketing of MN but more manageable.

I mean I get it's tricky running such a site but when the site cannot be used to do the very thing it's meant to be used for then surely you'd prioritise fixing it.

Seriously. Android phone using Chrome, ads are 2/5 of screen and make commenting on a thread seriously difficult.

This is ridiculous. I’m certainly not clearing my cache or cookies just for MN given the multiple other sites I use without issue. It’s obviously not the specific ads as we are all getting targeted ads (apparently I’ve been searching for handbags too much Grin). This is a site problem not a phone one.

Of course these things happen but I can't think of any other site where the response to users not being able to use the site would be clear cache and cookies we will look into it... You'd think in 3 days they might have attempted to fix it but apparently not. If anything it's way worse today, the site is virtually unusable and has been for most of the day.

This is my current view of one thread, it makes the site completely unusable. There’s a Rui ad at the top of this very page as well! Please sort it out @LilyMumsnet
