Does mumsnet actually want to alienate core users? (Sex topic in active)

Seriously?

I haven't seen a single post in favour of having the sex topic in active, and load against it, so why won't you take it back out?

This is literally like the third or fourth thread about this now. Aren’t you tired?! MN have already stated their response on one of the other threads, they’re hardly going to come back now saying ‘okay we’ll finally get rid’ are they?!

A lot of us choose to ignore it or block it rather than bang on about it.

I don’t think that’s fair…. All the posts from the Sex Topic users I’ve seen have been asking to go back to the way things were.

All they seem to be doing at this point, is helping to publicise the Sex topic, which is exactly what MNHQ want - hence them putting it in Active.

It probably won't be long before the media picks up on the furore, and helps to advertise the Sex topic even further.
