I think it's been an embarrassment for Mumsnet, to be honest. All this talk about 'down there' and 'vulva owners'. It's not sexy, it's silly.
This company - Smile Makers (yuk) - doesn't care about mothers or women, it just wants to flog a product.
If Mumsnet wants to do deals with companies - and another vibrator company? - then it needs to make sure that it isn't silly, doesn't used womb carriers and is genuinely something that aligns with women's values.
Look at the mess that is happening in Scotland at the moment. Real women's lives are being put in danger because of the desperation not to hurt trans people's feelings. If you asked actual Trans people, then you might find, they don't want to trample over women's rights either.
Mumsnet has been a safe space from this misogyny - please do something about this straight away.

Seriously mumsnet, do you read the threads on the forums and realise how terms like vulva owners are offensive? Of all the sites in all the world, you would have thought mumsnet would have got it, but no. How many times have their been posts where mn-etters have actively boycotted products that disregarded or disrespected women (for me, McCains and their knockers advert).
