Scam diversions/pop-ups

When on MN, I keep getting diverted to a website telling me that my McAfee sub has expired, & click on the link to renew.

I do use McAfee, but it has not expired.

I ONLY get this on MN , despite having c.20 other windows open.
Anyone else get this scam via MN ?

I had it yesterday. Edge & Windows 11. My security threw me out of Mumsnet & said it was unsafe.

I've been getting these too for the last couple of days. It's terrible.

Seconds ago got the robot one and lost the post I was writing.

That's three different ones in less than 5 minutes.

It's getting worse, not better. 😡

Seconds ago got the Mcafee one again. Immediately followed by a Microsoft Edge security one. This is ridiculous.

Still ongoing today. Chrome, Windows 10. It's various different messages I'm being forwarded to.
