How do we discuss the reality of parts of the UK absorbing large numbers of men from other cultures

This thread just proves that we cannot explore or name the problems because we get called racist. When you put 100 men into a hotel with no work you are going to get problems. The hotel near me is now a no go area. It’s not safe for a woman or girl to walk past it because they will get cat called, followed, etc etc.

but let’s just shut women down because we know it’s not all men, it’s not all cultures, white Men are as bad, Jimmy saville , all the Arab men I know are respectful, not all men are The same blah blah blah. So if it’s not the men we all know who is it exactly because it isn’t women.

It depends on whether you view the Middle East as purely a geographical location or whether you view it on aligned political views of arab countries.

I believe the individual men have the same misogyny, regardless of what country they live in.

The difference being is that the individuals are supported by an entire network.
Whereas, in Western countries our system isn’t as misogynistic.

We have rapes, SA, murders, peados etc just like any other country because our men are just as sexist and predatory.

It would be ignorant to suggest that we don’t have an issue with male violence in this county.

But you are more likely to be prosecuted in this country than you are in Afganistan, although there have been men put in jail and to death for rape in Afganistan but it’s usually covered up before it gets to trial.

I would not like to be a British woman living in Afghanistan but I wouldn’t mind being in the UK with men from Afghanistan, as the individuals pose the same risks but the larger system is completely different.

Can you not read? I have articulated it. You raised the question of how immigrant men from certain cultures are being integrated into the UK communities they now live in. Given the current rhetoric about immigrants and 'invasions' it was blindingly obvious to me and many other PPs that the thread was designed to be negative towards certain cultures and THAT is what makes the question racist, because you're lumping immigrants in together. I've never said you are racist, I responded that the question you posed, when you asked why the discussion kept being shut down, could be taken that way.

And it was only 30 years ago that it was legal to rape your wife in the UK.

It takes time for countries to develop their human rights. The UK only got its act together over the past 50 years. Society is changing for the better but it takes time, and acting like the UK is superior when it was a recent thing here is a bit odd…
