How do we discuss the reality of parts of the UK absorbing large numbers of men from other cultures

Absolutely true, but irrelevant to this discussion. Yes, men of all cultures can harm women.

But this thread is about the much increased risk to women caused by large numbers of men arriving from cultures in which women have low status and therefore violence against women is much more common.

The risk is increased for two reasons. (1) There is a sudden influx of men, mainly young/ish and without families to moderate their behaviour. (2) They are more likely than the average UK man to harass or attack women because that is more acceptable in their home culture.

How anyone can claim this isn't a feminist issue is beyond me.

This old thread seems apt as without mentioning another one today it does seem they are easily deleted.

But we are interested in your opinion and why you think we shouldn't talk about certain things.

I don't think you are breaking guidelines. I do think you are trying to stop people from discussing these issues.

I don’t know why they created the thread. From the get-go it was pure aggression and insinuates prejudice.

Anyway, if I’m trying to shut down the conversation please feel free to report and my posts will be removed if they break guidelines. That doesn’t bother me.

I keep responding as posters keep quoting me. You don’t have to keep quoting me asking for a response if you feel like I am shutting down conversations.

I suggest you go outside, take a moment to chill, breathe in the fresh air and talk to people. Talk to people of different races, religions. Open up your closed mind.

Yes I don’t get the importance of women having to be silent over harassment

If young Irish men were harassing local women, it would have been an important issue to address, no? Why do women’s needs and comfort always come behind men?

Same thing happened with young Irish men in the 6/70s and yes it was still racist then.
