Pages taking an age to load - anyone else?

Is anyone else finding that some pages are taking an age to load? And a message keeps appearing, something like "page taking ages, do you want to wait?"

It's only happening with mumsnet, no other sites.

And other, much smaller, forums that I use have been experiencing posting issues for the past day or so. I think something unpleasant is afoot.

I’ve just experienced the same error page, and slow loading of pages that then become glitchy.

I thought it might be due to a sudden overload of users, as a certain Royal/Non-Royal has just shared baby pictures of the Queen’s namesake.

I’m getting this as well when trying to post, I also had a message asking me to make contact so they could solve the problem……very weird

Same here - 404 error, I think, method not allowed. It's driven me off Mumsnet now tonight.

Maybe it's the Torybot gremlins getting revenge on Justine and Mumsnet...

I just had that too. I've had the Cloudflare error too, in the main.

Similar problem here, and its also causing my browser to crash

Did get the warning page about DDOS, but that's only in last 30 mins. The slowness and crashing has been going on for 2-3 days.

It's becoming unusable, because I'm utterly fed up with losing my other tabs (with sites thar are normal speed and glitch-free) every time MN causes yet another crash

Yes, I just had a message come up about DDOS - checking method I'm using or something like that.

Then it just said "The server returned a 405 method not allowed. Please let us now what you were doing when this occurred."

Erm, just waiting for MN to load. 🙁

Yes, painfully slow, especially longer threads though to be honest even this one loaded pretty slowly.
