Pages taking an age to load - anyone else?

Is anyone else finding that some pages are taking an age to load? And a message keeps appearing, something like "page taking ages, do you want to wait?"

It's only happening with mumsnet, no other sites.

For me it's a hit an miss. Sometimes it's quick and sometimes it's slow. On a PC with Windows 10, using Firefox.

Too slow to use this morning - pages not loading. iPhone, website, not the app. Everything else I’m opening or googling is fine.

Same here. I've deleted it and reinstalled no luck. Half the time my comments won't send either!

It’s been utterly shit lately.

Pages taking ages to load. Bookmarks not working. Constant error messages. Posts not posting.

Sort it out Mumsnet.

This morning, it's taking a ridiculous time to load, timing out and dumping you in the time it takes to write a six sentence post, and not recognising name changes.

That, together with latest data breach is really not good.

The 'upgrade' should not still be having such a negative impact that the user experience is worse than before nit for this amount of time

yes I have up last night as nothing would load and I kept getting the ‘bad gateway’ message. Thought it was my older phone!

Yes, really slow. However Mumsnet has been rubbish for me since it changed, it randomly freezes (normally when I try and scroll past an advert) and I have to wait for it to tell me the page is unresponsive so I can exit. I hardly use it now, it's so annoying. I just thought it was part of that.

Same here. It's almost unusable.

But i'm sure MNHQ will be along soon to ask what devices we're all using and ask for screenshots of the problem. 🙄

I've had an error 504 & a 500 in the space of 25 minutes this morning. And typing is sliw as hell, & very glitchy, mostly giving up TBH.

Lots of crashes for me this morning, then couldn’t get on at all. Is this linked to the troll-bot we’ve been seeing this last few days I wonder?

Happening to me too. Really, really slow, then sometimes getting an "error 504" come up.
Making using this site almost impossible.

Same here it's been slower adlnd slower over the past few days but last night and this morning it's constantly crashing and taking almost 5 minutes to load a page.

I'm sure MNHQ will be along any minute to say they are looking into it which will inevitably mean it sits on the never ending pile of things they're looking at but which never get fixed.

Similar problem here, and its also causing my browser to crash

Did get the warning page about DDOS, but that's only in last 30 mins. The slowness and crashing has been going on for 2-3 days.

It's becoming unusable, because I'm utterly fed up with losing my other tabs (with sites thar are normal speed and glitch-free) every time MN causes yet another crash

That's interesting - my browser has been crashing regularly for the last few days, but I assumed it was because I had just installed AVG Anti-Track, which I've since removed (and requested the refund because within 30 days) - I thought it was because I have an old laptop, still running Windows 7 Pro (I know! Shock) and maybe it couldn't cope - but if it's MN, then that's even more annoying!
(Probably still was the AVG Anti-Track messing things up too, to be fair - I've had that problem with some of AVG's other add-ons before)

The old platform rarely caused this level of pain to use. :(

Mines been like it for over a week. Can't post on long threads either, when I press post the page refreshes and my post disappears. I thought it was my ancient phone at first so I bought a new one but it wasnt
