Ad covering whole page

Chrome on laptop. The Irish ferries ad keeps covering the whole page and doesn't disappear, making it impossible to look at any threads.
At the bottom of the ad it says to scroll down to read threads ---- this doesn't work, the ad just follows down. Please, please sort this out!

I've had the 'rotate your device' message, and also a 'Remember Polly Pockets' which takes up the entire screen.

I still get the Irish Ferries ad hijacking the whole screen in Chrome. It makes the site totally unusable unless you refresh. Then you lose what you were typing.

The site is becoming unusable this evening. I'm being stalked by Polly Pocket ads that block the whole screen.

I’m seeing ads blacking out the page & covering content YET AGAIN. Chrome on iPad. MN is the ONLY site I use regularly which is constantly rendered almost unusable by these issues. My patience with this nonsense is exhausted. I’m off until it’s sorted.

Yes, that Irish Ferries ad is totally crap, can't get rid of it, can't read any threads, can't scroll past it (on Chrome), I am having to log off Mumsnet and hope the problem is fixed at some point.

Another one experiencing this - using Chrome on a laptop, and the Irish Ferries advert is totally impossible to scroll past and covers the entire page.

I'm use Safari on an iPad. I keep getting a Waitrose banner covering a third of the screen and the remaining two thirds freezes.

Just had to abandon an attempt to reply to something as that bloody advert appeared and I had no way to get back to the answer box! Typing this against the clock in case it happens again.

Same for me. Pretty embarrassing for whichever company is trying to sell to us, advertising a blank black square, that makes the website unusable 😄
