Just hide AIBU and then you never have to see it because people don't use it most everywhere else.

It would be useful if it just quoted the last post in the chain, not all the nested quoted bits.

@MurmuratingStarling Gah, but thank you. I just can't understand the posts where there are millions of people quoting other people, and so give up trying with those threads. Which is most of them.

@justinemumsnet Please could you make it possibly to switch this particularly irritating feature off?

No. I don't think it's possible. Unless you manually cope and paste the one quote you want to respond to.
