I can't send PMs

I can send and receive pms now, but can't get rid of the phantom notifications.
I also can't create paragraphs when composing them. If I press return (ios safari) it just sends the post rather than going onto a new line.

@LilyMumsnet I'm still getting the Oops screen. PM page shown for a tantalising moment, then if I click on a pm the screen of doom comes up. Google on laptop.

One week on, and I still can't open or send pm's. Come on MN, this is crap.

I can open my pms now. But I seem to have 3 notifications for non existing pms.

I can finally open PM's. I havent worked out how it all works yet, but not a problem.

Glad its not just me Tango, was thinking it was somet to do with my PC!

Me too, showing 1 new message but nothing there. Cannot get rid of the bloody thing!

I can't post or respond to anything at all on the app version. I've deleted & reloaded the app but still have the same 'ooops something has gone wrong' message. And the website version doesn't run well on my phone.

I have a PM notification (by 'my mumsnet'- on my PC) but no new PM for over a year..
No new unread PM, so cant get rid of notification can i? bloody annoying!

4 days on and still same issue.

I can only quote (as above) but before the change it never included the actual quote so it could be classed as a bonus I suppose, but people must think I'm mad as I add a random quotes everywhere 😂

Nope.
Any attempt yo engage with PM on any platform results in the same 500 error immediately, be that trying to send one via three dots or clicking on the notifications.
It doesn't work and hasn't since the site changed.

I can't post on threads unless I include a quote. Hence why I've just added a quote now.

A lot of the ones in my list also say that user deleted them, but I didn't , not ever. I like to keep them. I too hate change. I keep working out where all the the new things are, then I still can't find it when I look later. And lots don't work anyway.

I'm on Chrome and getting the Ooops black box. I've also lost loads of my PMs and some of them had info on them that I was keeping and needed to access. Some even say that I have requested their deletion - which I haven't.
You can't have the whole thread open either, so have to go page after page - which I hate. I hate change, and this is painful!

I originally had a big black page which I posted at beginning, then somehow that disappeared. So tried my new way and sent a couple of pm,s which others can't open. But it's actually worked for the first time between me and MrsEms. I still have two I can't open.I have in that side list a pm which I sent to Normanstanleyfletcher in 2013 !!!
obviously my way can't help you, wish it could.

MrsElm and I have managed to send pm,s. For those of you still struggling, don't click on the three dots. Open your pm dept, go to top of the screen, click on to the small pic of pen and paper, that's how we have done it, hopefully this may work for some of you.

Exactly the same.

Clicking on the three dots doesn't give me that option unfortunately.

I don't want MNHQ to think that clicking on 3 dots has solved others problems!

I can't access PMs at all. Can't send, can't see, can't receive, can't look!
