Why do I have the ‘quote’ option on some posts but not others?

It's true - you can't quote a post that's already been quoted. You can still do things the old-fashioned way, though, by copying the required text and pasting it between two asterisks (*) or two up arrows (^) so it shows in bold or italic. Smile
