can I get an early nomination in for next week, please?

you'd be surprised at what constitutes a massage. Some of the 'services' I found weren't entirely appropriate. "I am very broadminded and can be clothed or naturist" said one chap. I took his number.

"he's not rich zippi but he did win a tarzan lookalike competition at a holiday camp in 1952"

Quite a few funny posts on that thread actually

QuintessentialShadows · 13/05/2008 10:09

Califraus was slightly edited for length, if that is allowed.

QuintessentialShadows · 13/05/2008 10:08

Califrau reminiscing over her college ball:

"I wore a sort of ginger false beard shaped stick-on thing to arrange each boob into place and then spent the entire evening praying I wouldn't pull! ....
I do remember I danced with DH that night...back before he was mine! Good job he wasn't mine then. He'd never have recovered from the false beards."

on the self adhesive party bra thread

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 12/05/2008 15:25

I second the profiteroles one. almost wet myself laughing (really)

StealthPolarBear · 12/05/2008 15:16

On a thread about whether the queen wipes her own bum, comparisons were made to wiping a toddler's bottom.

suddenly through the halls of the palace...you can hear echoes of...

"One is Finnnnn-ISHED!!"

That is, if MN doesn't mind being sued again!

Ah, I think Pagwatch has won with the 'shagging on a Friday afternoon' thread:

By pagwatch on Mon 12-May-08 14:44:51
our neighbours were doing the same most of Sunday. And as she has a somewhat operatic manner when vocalising her delight it all became quite embaressing.
In the end ( after the third time ) I stood on the wall and shouted.
" could you please stop that now. We are trying to eat profiteroles out here"

yes I had been drinking.

( they did stop though)

RustyBear · 07/05/2008 21:44

Mooncups & birth positions - do you ever actually talk about vegetables on that 10/10 thread?
It's really all a front to save you from the Wrath of Cod, isn't it?

CatherineMumsnet · 07/05/2008 10:00

Hi all. please keep 'em coming

FrannyandZooey · 29/04/2008 08:27

This is a lovely one. I was talking to Zippi about suggested birth positions for women with SPD and she said:

By zippitippitoes on Mon 28-Apr-08 21:41:46
how can a birth position be lying on your side with knees together

surely the most you could give birth to then would be a borrower or flat stanley

(from 10 / 10 thread)

Obviously only girls should have these. After all, you need a fanjo to cook.

I'm never coming to tea at your house.

On the toy kitchens thread.

CatherineMumsnet · 16/04/2008 14:32

Anymore little gems?

harpsichordcarrier · 11/04/2008 13:29

I am forced to nominate Sobernow AGAIN:

By Sobernow on Fri 11-Apr-08 11:29:20
Perhaps it is a mistranslation of

"In our dawning, mutual intimacy, I induce him to open the little flap in the top of a box of maltesers, so I can put my finger inside and suck them"

on this thread

"This really isn't a book about sex .. it's Miss Smilla's Feeling for Snow

there is a burgeoning romance between 2 characters

the line is from the 'heroine'

"In our dawning, mutual intimacy, I induce him to open the little slit in the head of his penis so I can put my clitoris inside and fuck him"

huh?"

ShinyPinkShoes · 10/04/2008 21:19
