MN very slow and keep getting this error message

Been having problems with mn this morning, it is horrendously slow and then I keep getting this error message as well
Not sure if it is just me
I am on iPad safari using desktop (because I cannot access the mobile site)

I not really understand a lot of this, but can see you got problems, I hope it gets sorted for you
Bit mean of people targeting the site I depend on mumsnet a bit cos I by my own and it is a bit social for me
But although I got the checking browser thing, it is letting me in now I back from my walk so fingers crossed it all be ok

The ‘I am a human’ photos are irritatingly small, and I’ve had to do it 3 or 4 times before getting in just now. Pretty much unusable

It seems to be working better now though I had to prove I‘m human by clicking on bikes (iPadOS 14.4)

Whats going on? I'm being asked to click on very small photos of bicycles that I can't see properly and then got a message that I'm temporarily banned?????

I logged onto the laptop and it seems ok (for now?) but I can't access on my phone at all?

TBH I don't use the app on my phone. I just use the mobile site through the browser. Too many posters have said that the app has less functionality, so I never bothered using it.

Communication with users (and I’m guessing advertisers too) seems pretty poor from what I can see. There was nothing on other sm. I emailed mnhq via an old email from them and was told at that point (mid afternoon today) that their sm teams would be alerted - why weren’t they already? So apparently even in house comms are poor.

Yes the real villain is the person/s unknown committing the ddos but in a modern, wealthy business I don’t think it’s expecting too much that your IT security be as robust as possible?

And that you let users/advertisers know when there’s an issue?

Me too. Been happening for a few days now. Only got worse yesterday and today. Been off the site for ages again trying to get back on.
A few days for me too, definitely not just a today problem

I have been here through a few hacks, and left a few times too because of them.

Always aware that there is a lot of stuff on here that I am not happy about, the amount of things that show up on Brave are interesting, tracker wise etc.

The constant need to select/deselect when signing in is also not a good thing. I am always remind that I am being watched when I see that, and how much.
