Why would someone troll about this? I find it staggering that a person would go to so much trouble to make it all up. For what gain 🤷‍♀️

For attention. Maybe an element of controlling other people's emotions? Its incredibly pathetic but Mumsnet is an absolute magnet for trolls, the place is riddled with them.

Hang on, I was one of the posters who offered sympathy. Did this woman lie about all this? Including her dead daughter?!
It was her sister and fiancé and family friend.

Attention? It was so clearly made up but there were hundreds of posters offering sympathy and telling OP how amazing she was.
