Why have MNHQ closed the coronavirus one-year-ago thread?

MNHQ, why have you closed the thread where people were reflecting on how naïve we all were a year ago about what was coming?

I was finding the discussion really interesting as were lots of other people.

In your deletion message, you say This thread is a year old and so much has happened since - but that's the whole point! We're reflecting on how much has happened in the last year.

This kind of thing is interesting now, and will no doubt be interesting as a historical record in the future.

I wouldn't have thought of going back a year to find this, and I'm grateful to the poster who resurrected the thread as it was really thought provoking.

I just don't understand why you've stopped us talking about this? How is it not in line with MN values? I just don't get it.

Do you think closing it was perhaps closing it was a little hasty? Would you consider reopening it, please?
