Notifications for mentions on threads when they are for PMs

Why the heck, why?

I turned off emails to let me know someone had mentioned me as I was getting a lot. Just seen 14 messages in my in box and thought I'd been spammed.

MNHQ believe me, there are better things to be sending your time on than this!!

Hi @PearPickingPorky you are able to turn off email notifications by going to your talk preferences www.mumsnet.com/Talk?call=Preferences here. At the moment you cannot turn off the feed notifications.
