This feature just appeared. It's brilliant, been waiting for this for ages.

I really hope it will cut down on the number of people reading just the first page then leaping in to a long thread that has massively moved on.

Just cutting and pasting a comment I’ve posted on Feminist Chat - basically showing how useful I’ve found this facility in the context of a long established thread. It’s a really useful function Smile

“Just wanted to say that I’m liking the new ‘See All OP’s posts’ facility. On threads like this (I’ve come to this one 7 pages in) it’s great to be able to see how the OP has responded to all the posters before you launch in yourself. It makes it easy to identify those that are here to just stir and those who are potentially listening and may go on and put the work in to reach a greater understanding. Looks like this OP is the latter and I welcome that.

I think it’s important to remember that, particularly with younger posters, the debate has been simplified for many into ‘I don’t care who pees where - can’t we all just get along and stop being horrid to all the lovely, vulnerable trans people’. That’s the depth of the level of engagement some people evidently have with this issue.

This is a great place to come and explore the fact that there’s FAR, FAR more to it than that.“

Hi @Skyliner001, See next and see all links on OP posts are there for everyone. Being able to filter on any username is premium.

The links should be there on both the mobile and desktop versions of the Mumsnet website. In the iphone app you can swipe left on the message and you should see a "filter" option. Again this works for OP posts for everyone and for any poster for premium.

The android app doesn't have it yet.

I think it's great it is always visible and not hidden under the three dots. Makes it more of a push to people who can't be arsed to RTFT to at least read all of OP's posts.

@EstherMumsnet why does it have to appear in every post instead of under the three dots? I'm finding it distracting and quite annoying seeing it in every OP post. I can't see me using it much either.

It is when people don't bother to read a thread - not even to skim through just the OP's replies - and come on after 654 posts to suggest something that has been posted by 600 other people (and is usually no longer relevant as the OP has resolved the problem and given everyone an update).

I think bonus points are awarded if the suggestion(s) are not even relevant to the question asked.

I wasn't around for the "cancel the cheque" thread but I think that the opening post probably clearly stated that the cheque in question had already been cashed.

Happy to be corrected if I am wrong.

This is fantastic. Justine said it was going to be launched. Such a huge improvement, we don’t need to read through pages and pages of “bookmarking” to see updates.
