threads disappear, but no deletion message?

I posted a lot on a thread about 11+, nothing there that was against guidelines, and perfectly harmless thread.

Go out for an hour, and come back, thrwad and vanished, but I don't even get a deletion message? Thread was still open on my computer and when I refreshed the page it just said
OOps, can't find that page.

This isn't the first time.
If there was a deletion message it was up for no time at all.

It is really frustrating to not know why it has vanished. Was it a troll? Was it something I said?

Grrr.

We're so sorry this is happening - we've let it be known that we'd like this sorted asap as we know how frustrating it can be when threads disappear and you're left in the dark...wondering..

Hi all,

We do usually post first to let folks know we're deleting it, but thanks for the feedback - perhaps we could leave the deletion message a wee bit longer before zapping.
