Meanings of phrases explained

I have seen a few phrases bandied around and am starting this thread to ask one by one what they mean and so there is somewhere for others to get MN phrases explained to them as well. Thanks in advance.

Hairy hands - what does it mean on MN?

It means troll, as in someone who is commenting just to cause trouble or be controversial.

In addition, troll doesn't mean "anyone who disagrees with me" as many posters seem to think...!
