When I press on the three dots to save my place the drop down doesn’t appear properly, is anyone else having this problem? I’m on iPhone, safari browser. Pic attached of what’s happening when I click...

I'm having this problem today, on Android/Chrome browser

Catzpyjamas · 10/10/2018 22:41

I've got round it, for this evening, by switching to desktop view to bookmark. It's a PITA but at least I can go back to threads without starting at the beginning each time.

Datun · 10/10/2018 22:38

Same here. iPhone X.

Thurlow · 10/10/2018 22:17

How are we supposed to report threads until then?

Nacreous · 10/10/2018 21:57

Same as Wappers for me! Looking forward to the fix!

Tech will be attempting a fix for this tomorrow, shouldn't take too long. Sorry for the inconvenience! Brew

iggleypiggly · 10/10/2018 21:06

I’m getting social media and email icons instead Sad

WTFIsAGleepglorp · 10/10/2018 21:05

None here, android on huawei p20, I'm sure they were there this morning

toldmywrath · 10/10/2018 21:02

No bookmark here either. Android, same as sasfras
Same problem. Mobile site on Android. I get the Facebook, twitter, Google+ and email icons instead

newroundhere · 10/10/2018 21:02

Yep, I have exactly the same problem as WappersReturns using chrome for android on mobile

Lougle · 10/10/2018 21:02

Hi MNHQ, I'm using Android and have lost all menus in the "three dot drop down menu" and think the problem is with the mobile site as a whole, because it's the same on Chrome and Samsung Internet Browser. I can't bookmark, add post, report, anything.

Collectorofcookbooks · 10/10/2018 21:01

My bookmarks have disappeared too, but I can do social media links which seems a bit random!

So pleased it’s not just me.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 10/10/2018 20:58

I believe that the option for bookmarks may be buried deep somewhere in customise on the desktop site?

MN, I'm not asking stroppily, but out of geeky interest, how does stuff like this break? I'm assuming it was accidental, but what sort of stuff goes on behind the scenes to make this happen? Is site maintenance a full time job? Or do improvements sometimes backfire?

In fact, could we have tech do a we chat / q and a?

emmeyebea · 10/10/2018 20:46

I'm on a desktop and I've never been able to do it. The bookmark option just doesn't exist on the screen at all.

MinniesAndMickeysNeedCounting · 10/10/2018 20:40

Same, Samsung galaxy, Android

JennyOnAPlate · 10/10/2018 20:24

Same here. Safari on iPhone

BuffysFavouriteStake · 10/10/2018 20:21

Same here, Android, Chrome.
Also still getting large areas of text blacking out for no reason.

ticolac · 10/10/2018 20:19

Same here.
IOS 11.4.1 iPad safari mobile site

ilovesooty · 10/10/2018 20:12

Just a little white strip and nothing else.

WappersReturns · 10/10/2018 19:55

I'm getting the social media connect buttons when I try. Also on mobile using chrome for android.

Same here. The Bookmark option completely vanished on mobile (android, using chrome browser) for me about 18m ago and never returned. It doesn't appear when I hover over the right spot on my laptop either (Windows 10, using chrome).

But today nothing appears when I press the 3 dots! So that's new. Sure it was fine this morning though?

PiggeryPorcombe · 10/10/2018 19:52

Nor me 😫

CryingMessFFS · 10/10/2018 19:49

Same here (iPhone on mobile site) massive PITA!

Hi all

This sounds v. frustrating. We've flagged to tech right away - we'll update as soon as we can.
