Anyone else get this? If I'm browsing the site on my phone if I've come back to my browser from using another app the thread will be all fuzzy and have random black blocks all through it before I refresh.

Simple fix but still annoying. :s

So far all day yesterday and today l am having no issues.
@ElizavetaMumsnet has MN changed anything for some of us to now be ok?

BerriesandLeaves · 26/10/2018 12:08

I thought it had been fixed for me yesterday as it was ok during the day but then it happened again last night

Whenasuitcasejustwontdo · 26/10/2018 12:07

Hi @FishesThatFly

Some people are finding that the issue is fixed. If you are still experiencing the problem please let us know.

Thanks so much for your patience on this

Any update? Is it fixed?

Cuttingthegrass · 26/10/2018 07:35

I still can’t use my Apple iPad. Screen just freezes. Won’t scroll or do anything amd it’s not ‘thinking’ as no ‘flower’ whirling round.

I can use my Apple phone ok. Am very frustrated.

Topseyt · 26/10/2018 02:56

I've had no issues today either.

purpleface · 26/10/2018 00:04

Seems to be fixed for me now Smile

FishesThatFly · 25/10/2018 15:15

I haven't had any issues today at all

Pesilica · 25/10/2018 12:57

Are they trying to replicate it on chrome dev tools using mobile view or on an actual android device? As I find it crazy that they haven't spotted it using an android device considering the frequency! The pattern for me is it appears when the marks and Spencer ad appears or just after it has shown.

I'm not deleting and reinstalling my apps Hmm

AGHHHH · 25/10/2018 12:46

What are tech using to replicate it? do they have ad blockers? Special account privileges that change the way they see ads? Anything like that?

It's only a mobile problem and seems to be happening mostly to Samsung and Huewai users, and some Sony.

OP posts:
SilverHairedCat · 25/10/2018 12:27

Are tech using Samsung, Sony and Huawei devices? They seem to be the affected ones. I've not seen any Apple devices named on these threads (at least I don't think I have), and it's pretty much all Chrome related.

SilverHairedCat · 25/10/2018 12:26

No, I take it back, earlier on this thread!!

SilverHairedCat · 25/10/2018 12:25

Hang on, on the other thread we were told it's a Google issue affecting multiple websites???

ElizavetaMumsnet · 25/10/2018 12:24

Hey,

Tech has been trying to replicate this issue for a couple of days now and unfortunately, there's no luck.

It would be really helpful if you can answer some of the following questions:

  1. Are there any patterns on which the issue occurs? (e.g. only happens after you open browser after an app)

2)Have you tried to reset browser settings?

Thank you, we are really sorry about this issue.

Thanks,
Elizaveta
