Black areas on mobile

Anyone else get this? If I'm browsing the site on my phone if I've come back to my browser from using another app the thread will be all fuzzy and have random black blocks all through it before I refresh.

Simple fix but still annoying. :s

Oh, Huawei P20. Android, Chrome. Fully up to date on add ons etc.

SilverHairedCat · 20/10/2018 23:54

This is driving me loopy. Its on multiple boards. I think it's trying to show me a YouTube video, as one finally popped up earlier but I didn't get a screenshot of the link.

It's making the site unworkable. I can't screen record, as leaving the page to turn the recorder on resets the page and it all disappears.

PickAChew · 20/10/2018 23:45

It's hit active, now.

Winewinewinewine · 20/10/2018 22:30

Hmmm. Lots of Android problems I see........😞

Nephrite · 20/10/2018 21:09

Same. Samsung A3

ConfusedMum82 · 20/10/2018 19:34

Yes same here, been happening for about a fortnight. I'm on android, Samsung A3 just in case you're looking for a pattern.

Dermymc · 20/10/2018 19:32

It's worse when I try to write a message.

Anchorsaweigh · 20/10/2018 17:49

Getting it a LOT today.

Really very annoying

I've been getting this too. Samsung s7

Topseyt · 20/10/2018 16:05

I wouldn't say either that it is definitely connected to the M & S ads. Seems to be any of them as far as I can see.

Topseyt · 20/10/2018 16:01

Not sure if anyone is even paying attention to this. Poor show.

Topseyt · 20/10/2018 15:58

Worse than ever here today. The site is often almost unusable.

Please do something, or at least update us about what the problem actually is.

AGHHHH · 20/10/2018 15:23

My third attempt at writing this post being ruined by it and I've had enough. I'm not bothering to use the forum until it's been fixed. See you in a week or so!

Having no update whatsoever after this long isn't on.

Me too! Samsung S6, mobile site, chrome. It seems to be ad linked but not sure which one as that goes black too.
Been doing it on virtually every thread over the past few days.

M0gg · 20/10/2018 14:06

Does anyone else only get it when the M&S ad is up or is it just coincidence for me?

BobbinThreadbare123 · 20/10/2018 13:17

This has been happening for many weeks now. I use an Honor 7X with Android. Its really irritating. A page refresh will wipe it but you lose your place.

Mibby16 · 20/10/2018 13:15

I've got this too. Glad it's not my phone breaking. Sony xperia on chrome

Cococachara · 20/10/2018 13:07

Also having this issue on chrome on mobile. Really bad pretty much on every thread.

DropZoneOne · 20/10/2018 10:57

I've been getting this too. Samsung A3 using Chrome. Today is worse than ever, it was every 30 seconds or so in a few threads.

BathTangle · 20/10/2018 09:01

I thought it was just me - it's really annoying - Samsung on Chrome too.

Galvantula · 20/10/2018 08:59

I've been getting this intermittently too, for a couple of weeks.
