Where's the little red bell gone?

The one that tells us we have a message in our inbox?

Seems to have disappeared since the revamp.

I know we get an email but they often don't arrive until quite some time after the message is sent. (interestingly, I seem to be receiving two emails for every PM)

Hi there everyone,

Thanks for letting us know about the delay on the notification bell. Our tech team are aware of this and are currently working on a solution. We'll let you all know when it's sorted.

I have to click everything at least twice to navigate. PMs are definitely quicker though.

It does seem faster to me to retrieve pms I think? Other than that it just seems to be that they've changed the shape of the Active and My Mumsnet bubbles? I think it must have been behind the scenes stopping it all falling apart sort of tinkering.

Yes, I have to refresh the browser! But since the improvements, everything only half loads anyway, so I'm putting it down to that.

ermmmm is anyone having an issue with their bell not going away?

I have to visit a pm twice before my bell will vanish!

I think the bell, or icon, varied in colour over the years. I do recall it might have been yellow and red at some point? And then red? I can't remember!

I PMd OYBBK too! I guess she'll be rather pleased that it's working again too.
