If you're stupid enough for it to be THAT identifiable then you should have to grin and bear it imho.

That is the price you pay for being such an utter twit.

Possibly Ursula

But you see if I just said 'I dislike these changes and what I see as the consequences if them on the tone of the site' then that's also a bit of an open goal for 'why don't you leave if you don't like it now'.

And I did mean what I said - I don't like MN as much as I used to, but it's not so bad that I've reached the tipping point where I'm no longer here. That may or may not happen. And it'll make no difference whatsoever to MNHQ because it's their site and their priorities won't be influenced by an erstwhile prolific poster (particularly one who has never been mentioned on a favourite or least favourite MNetter thread. Ms Invisible, me)

But
Unpleasant

UrsulaPandress · 04/02/2018 16:26

Splinters in your arse there Stella 😂

TheFallenMadonna · 04/02/2018 16:26

I used to agree (back in the mists of time) both gosh, threads get so inpleasant now. Poster after poster after poster piling on saying the same unhelpful thing. "An absolute pasting" probably doesn't need to stay forever really.

AuntieStella · 04/02/2018 16:23

Yes, there are times when I really wonder which part of a thread (which contains no permalice identifying details whatsoever) makes it merit deleting.

But as it's pretty clear that deletion policy has changed considerably in the last year or so, I try to let it all wash over me. I neither agree with it nor like it, but it's MNHQ's business.

(I still like this site more than many others, but do not like it as much as I did).

UrsulaPandress · 04/02/2018 16:17

I know. My TIO is so full of holes. It's getting ridiculous now.

Oh wibble, folk don't agree with me.

Oh wobble, this might end up in the Daily Mail

Oh no, this might be identifying
