I think this should be the feem toon.

I like the idea of moving terrible threads nobody wants to be associated with any more to a special dumping ground. Maybe it could also feature a list of dumped people so we know who is banned?

elephantoverthehill · 19/11/2017 12:38

I think the plug hole should be where Piglet John resides, so we can all find him when the need arises.

GerdaLovesLili · 19/11/2017 12:18

it becomes the section where 'problematic' threads go to swirl around in stasis, complete with deletion message, before they actually get deleted a few days later.

Genius!💡

Butterymuffin · 18/11/2017 23:56

Alternative suggestion: it becomes the section where 'problematic' threads go to swirl around in stasis, complete with deletion message, before they actually get deleted a few days later.

paxillin · 18/11/2017 23:52

DoctorTwo should be the mod on the topic. To say when it gets too graphic.

What's the theme tune for AIBU?

elephantoverthehill · 18/11/2017 23:40

Doctor twosTwo. Thank you, every day is a school day. Did I mishear the lyric 'Shit lives forever'?

Grin
elephantoverthehill · 18/11/2017 20:06

I'd rather be in front of a plopper, if you don't mind.

paxillin · 18/11/2017 19:54

Thing is, I won't be posting on ploppers. Much like sporners, I was vocal in my support for their topic because I didn't want to take part in their strange hobby, lovely as they are.

Perhaps we can find an enthusiastic plopper and rally behind them?

elephantoverthehill · 18/11/2017 19:52

The preppers got their topic may be ask for a ploppers topic?

paxillin · 18/11/2017 19:01

Rearguard action, recent flush of poo topics.. you lot are not helping my very serious campaign against the plop on MN {grin].

elephantoverthehill · 18/11/2017 18:43

*Poo threads

elephantoverthehill · 18/11/2017 18:42

I did read some of that thread Paxillin but got distracted by either DCs or work or something. I thought it was really quite a good idea. I haven't read the recent flush of poo topics, but to file them in a specific topic might just put off the poo trolls.

PanPanPanPing · 18/11/2017 18:41

I think they're trying to fight a rearguard action, pax? Our trivial comments are way down the 'to do' list?

paxillin · 18/11/2017 18:37

My failed campaign for a poo topic

HQ didn't even answer it.

PanPanPanPing · 18/11/2017 18:34

I did suggest The Number Two on another thread ... too!!!

elephantoverthehill · 18/11/2017 18:33

Perhaps the poo topic should be entitled 'This number too will pass'.
Thanks Battleax.

PanPanPanPing · 18/11/2017 18:33

elephantoverthehill, here is The Plughole :

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/the_plughole

with nothing in it!

Battleax · 18/11/2017 18:31

what's the plug hole topic, where is it and what was it used for?

For MNers to "plug" their wares, but nobody ever goes there, so basically pointless.

PanPanPanPing · 18/11/2017 18:29

"... but will certainly pass this onwards and upwards to someone more able in this department"

CarolineMNHQ, I think you'll have to pass it (whatever it might be) 'downwards' to a MNHQer who is well versed in the the subject?

BTW, what are the loos like at MN Towers?!

elephantoverthehill · 18/11/2017 18:27

slightly behind what's the plug hole topic, where is it and what was it used for? I keep thinking about the song about the baby going down the plug hole I'm quite afraid to go looking for the topic TBH

Battleax · 18/11/2017 18:27

Shouldn't that be "happens"?

paxillin · 18/11/2017 18:18

Faeces happen?

Battleax · 18/11/2017 18:17

So much choice.
