Deletions due to being discussed elsewhere

Hi

I was wondering if this is going to be the case for all posts now? Can they be deleted just because they’re discussed elsewhere?

It’s a public forum of course all posts might be discussed elsewhere, that’s the risk you take when you post online.

Why doesn’t this happen when people’s threads end up on Facebook/twitter pages dedicated to slating MN users? Not to mention the scummy journos who lift entire threads on here but MNHQ are happy to keep them?

I thought you didn’t delete threads unless against guidelines etc? Is this going to be a new guideline? Must not be discussed on certain forums?

Rufustherenegadereindeer1 · 17/11/2017 22:43

I will explain to dh that we need to speak the the electrician and get some more plug sockets

I have persuaded him to buy a parasol Christmas tree so this will be a piece of cake

Christinayangstwistedsista · 17/11/2017 22:43

I've got a white one

Christinayangstwistedsista · 17/11/2017 22:42

Well, by tomorrow night we will all be out of our faces and smelling lovely. It will be the best night on MN for ages

Rufustherenegadereindeer1 · 17/11/2017 22:42

But they womt go in my living room...the colours i mean

Christinayangstwistedsista · 17/11/2017 22:41

Weebo

Was it the cinnamon or the er other stuff that tempted you?

Rufustherenegadereindeer1 · 17/11/2017 22:41

I think honey is lowering the tone...again

Weebo · 17/11/2017 22:40

I'm imagining a frantic call to the police "My melt cup warmer! It's gone! It cost £100 you know!"

Christina you are tempting me now.

Rufustherenegadereindeer1 · 17/11/2017 22:40

perfectly

Sometimes i forget what threads im on and find ive been blethering away inappropriately

Sometimes i do it on purpose Grin

This is not one of those 'on purpose' times

PerfectlyDone · 17/11/2017 22:38

Oh, FFS, the usual suspects have once again derailed a perfectly serious and sensible thread Grin

And it smells nice in here

Christinayangstwistedsista · 17/11/2017 22:38

Ahem, I have no idea

Honeydragon · 17/11/2017 22:36

Could you use it like a sort of weed aromatiser? Get a gentle buzz going?

Christinayangstwistedsista · 17/11/2017 22:31

I've had this one in for a few weeks and its been on everyday
