Mine is a crazy mix of TIO showing what it used to show - i.e. the last five or so posts of every thread I was on, with the most recently updated threads shown at the top of my TIO list - and some of my list showing only the OP of threads I was on (with no new posts showing).

Interesting - one post (the above) and then suddenly all the other, older, 'threads I'm on' magically appeared on the formerly empty screen. How weird.

Somebody's been updating the program running the entire site during the night, obviously. At least not entire site is gone...

It is showing that I am the last poster but there are replies to my post...

I guess we are all going to have to hit the bookmark function hard to get back to where we were reading. Although is my memory correct in that the book mark feature doesn't work in all versions?

Yeah it's not working properly at all. The last 2 threads I've posted on, it shows me as the last poster in the last column (or rather, this one showed Einstein as the last poster) but not the post I've posted, so I can't click on it to take me to the right place on the thread.

GAH!

Also it is not updating TIO properly. Active threads was showing that Thumbwitch was the last poster but TIO was showing that Lonestar was the last poster.

I know that you were trying to get the deletion msg for the app/mobile site but it really does seem to be:
99 bugs in the code,
99 little bugs,
take one down,
patch it around,
110 bugs are now in the code.

Huh. Well it's back for me but it's still shit and ugly and looks like a bad spreadsheet.
Also I don't have the usual 5 posts showing, and they're massively spread out.

Oh well, I'll continue to complain, nothing will be done because it never is, it'll be just another retrograde step that we have to get used to

I still don't have anything in TIO. It just says 'you haven't posted on any threads recently'.

Not worked at all, all day for me. It better come back. Pretty reliant on it.

How will we know if it's fixed or still glitchy? Currently it's a horrible mish-mash of title only; one post and title; two posts and title. It's impossible to get any sense of where the thread is.

I don't understand why changes to make it more efficient should have any need to change how it looks. Mine, when it's there at all, looks different and horrid, it looks all squashed in.

I don't like having just the thread title and no posts showing. I don't know what that's supposed to be telling me.

HQ it does seem silly to do things this way.

On again, off again, on again, off again. That is my technical situation report.

Also the reply numbers next to the threads and the no of posts shown sees to be completely random...

Could you clarify what we are supposed to be looking at HQ pretty please as it currently seems random and weird and someone has to have had some logic in this.

And you can no longer see the deletion message in TIO... you have to click through to the thread. because that is going to be so much fun next time you are trying to follow 101 threads that keep being zapped....

Going to be honest this is not an improvement. It is a bit bonkers. Could you setup some sort of mirrored environment for tech to roll things out in to properly test it before releasing it into the wild. It is not that hard we used to use it for test running software without breaking very expensive equipment. Yes there were a few quirks on release but they were usually minor and user error rather than big glitches.

count on that thread is down to 5. Wonder if it is posts after mine (including mine?)

Oh the new format for mobile site is rubbish. So, because I was the last person to post, my post doesn't show up in the TOI?? Is that right?

I think the new format has come through on TIO and TIW Seemes to have settled

post count is bonkers too, 46 when there is 200+ on one thread.

Understand everyone's frustration. I think mine is finally back on now. Been a frustrating day on MN. Hope everyone else gets sorted quickly now.
