Why doesn't Justine come on MN and discuss thongs

Puggsville · 08/08/2017 11:36

I love MN and have no intention of flouncing. I'm also not invested in The Thread That Must Not be Named, but ..

Lots of MNetters are upset/angry/confused about that and other matters. Long term posters are getting banned. Moderation policy is bewildering.

I remember when it were all fields round here Justine used to regularly engage with the membership. Can't she do it again, to resolve matters and show us we're still loved?

"HoneyDragon" now she just takes those times off and leaves us and MNHQ to get on with it.

I know, let's all drop in a few Archer's spoilers and flush them out that way.

At Christmas? Shock Shock Then we'd miss all the Christmas PILs nuclear fallout featuring amusing turkey anecdote stories!

Was it last year someone went out with their DC to get chips on Boxing Day afternoon because they were bloody starving after 72 hours on PIL portions.

HoneyDragon · 08/08/2017 18:54

Remember when she always threatened to shut the site down at least once over the summer holidays and once at Christmas

Christinayangstwistedsista · 08/08/2017 18:52

Think they have made an arse of this Grin

Sittinginthesun · 08/08/2017 18:51

just another I wished I'd posted mine before yours. Would've made more sense!

Sittinginthesun · 08/08/2017 18:50

She'll be on a lovely white beach somewhere, sitting under her palm tree umbrella, not giving work a second's thought.

Then she'll come home to 12 loads of washing, pouring rain, 12° temperatures, and an ear infection from the plane. She'll be back at work on Monday, with a box of exotic biscuits from the airport, with a positive mental attitude and say:

"Anything major happen last week?"

Justine's debrief when she gets back from holiday.

MNHQ: "There's been a massive hoo-ha, load of regulars have left, the police are involved and tension is running high.

Oh yeah, and the members want you to do a talk about thongs."

I am a fan of the M&S giant pant. One has to have comfort at all times in the bum region at my advanced age.

justanothernameagain · 08/08/2017 18:43

*embezzling!

Still making me chuckle :)

Justine really should do a talk about thongs.

KimchiLaLa · 08/08/2017 18:40

I don't understand what I'm missing!

justanothernameagain · 08/08/2017 18:39

Puggsville thank you so much.

You win MN today. I thought the wooly hugs ibezzling money for wine and cocaine post was funny, but this really made me chuckle Grin

FWIW Justine should say something.

FruBayerischOla · 08/08/2017 18:29

She's probably on holiday with Boff, comparing notes about shitty - or otherwise - hotels and naice restaurants!

BoreOfWhabylon · 08/08/2017 18:22

Has anyone atted her? Like this

@JustineMumsnet this thread needs your attention asap, pleaseandthankyou

PS pics of thongs required

BertrandRussell · 08/08/2017 18:05

It's not a kitchen table......

Puggsville · 08/08/2017 18:02

where is Justine? I just don't understand why she didn't answer my call to arms ...

OCSockOrphanage · 08/08/2017 17:51

I missed that one. Is it in classics?

ChampagneTastes · 08/08/2017 17:50

This has made my day.

OlennasWimple · 08/08/2017 17:39

This is the best typo since the OP who was concerned that her dinner guests would think that she was serving them a cheap meal because she had used "minge" (rather than "mince") Grin

DandelionAndBedrock · 08/08/2017 17:38

M&S cotton ones are good for spinning. Don't ask me how/why.

PortiaCastis · 08/08/2017 17:33

Yep and club card points on the Tesco ones!

OCSockOrphanage · 08/08/2017 17:32

Tesco and M&S do packs of five for about a fiver

PortiaCastis · 08/08/2017 17:29

But but £29 is extortionate for a cheese wire arse cutter, praps a pack of 5 maybe worth that but not a single toilet torturer surely

FruBayerischOla · 08/08/2017 17:27

I expect she can afford the £29 knickers, HoneyDragon. But, having said that, I bet she's rather more canny with her ordinary underwear?!
