Why doesn't Justine come on MN and discuss thongs

I love MN and have no intention of flouncing. I'm also not invested in The Thread That Must Not be Named, but ..

Lots of MNetters are upset/angry/confused about that and other matters. Long term posters are getting banned. Moderation policy is bewildering.

I remember when it were all fields round here Justine used to regularly engage with the membership. Can't she do it again, to resolve matters and show us we're still loved?

'So whilst a handful of people want things done their way, the vast majority of users have no idea what the recent knicker twisting has been all about'

Yes could anyone sum it up in a nutshell?

How on earth would Kate know what style of knickers Justine wears, Nellie?!?! I mean, I have no idea what type of knickers my BFFs wear, let alone any of my female colleagues!

But I think I'm going to follow magi's idea and go and buy some Sloggis - they sound nice and comfy!!

NellieBuff · 11/08/2017 13:34

Kate can you however confirm whether Justine is a thong girl or a sensible big pant girl Smile

Sorry this thread has given me chuckling over lunch.

RespoDad · 11/08/2017 09:16

All this talk about thongs I hope Justine gets back soon. The suspenders is killing me.

crookedhooker · 10/08/2017 16:17

I bought a packet of full briefs by mistake. Theyve been a revelation I tell you no going back now 😂

UnFuckingAcceptable · 10/08/2017 09:39

A tons of terrible spelling there.
It's early, only had one coffee and not good at phone mumsnetting Blush

UnFuckingAcceptable · 10/08/2017 09:37

I am vaguely aware of what's been occurring and it is a sorry state.

Just like I'm vaguely aware that some weird folk like wearing knickers that sit in their bum cracks and feel it's a sorry state!
Out of curiosity, are things just an acceptance of the inevitable? Do women get some fed up and bored of having to discretely pull their knickers out of their arse that they eventually decide to just give in, go whole hog and wear a thong?

Can't wait for Justine to come back and tell us!

(Do we almost have a full mumsnet dress code now btw? Thong, mum boots, scarf...just need someone to tell me about the correct clothing now. Gonna look a bit odd walking round dressed like that!!)

No, not really, I only lurk and post in AIBU, Relationships and Chat. Tried Brexit and Scotland (for the independence stuff) but the Xenophobia and Sturgeon Hate made them a little repetitive.

Anyway, in the three very busy areas I do frequent the current angst driven stuff of Mumsnetters who are way over invested in what is an anonymous forum didnt make an appearance. So whilst a handful of people want things done their way, the vast majority of users have no idea what the recent knicker twisting has been all about.

Oooh! The long legged Sloggi eh?!

justanothernameagain · 09/08/2017 11:41

MargeryFenworthy sent you a PM

RolfNotRudolf · 09/08/2017 11:17

I think we need to get to the bottom of this, to the very foundation - before we establish who slipped up and Y.

MargeryFenworthy · 09/08/2017 10:46

I searched Bellrooms on Facebook and came across a post by a guy whose initials weren't DK who was congratulating his wife on her new initiative, Bellrooms. The mystery deepens.

PencilsInSpace · 09/08/2017 09:38

Haha no blog, it would be far too outing.

MOIST · 09/08/2017 07:37

I have discovered the long leg sloggi. Bought to combat chub run on holiday they are so amazingly comfortable I have taken to wearing them all the time.

Politicspanda · 09/08/2017 07:11

I pretty much only wear ancient Sloggis bought in my carefree single days. I can't afford to replace them but nothing else matches up. DH does not find 15 year old grey pants alluring though.

Solo · 09/08/2017 01:39

Ahem! justanothernameagain said about debriefing first! .

Aaaannd! Sloggies do great thongs too although I only wear big Briidgets nowadays.

TheRollingCrone · 09/08/2017 00:55

Pencil you need to write us a blog on that - sloggis 'an all.

The most interesting people are here

HemanOrSheRa · 09/08/2017 00:38

She works like a Trojan. Arf. Cough. I've just drawed my vape dry.

MadamePomfrey · 09/08/2017 00:30

Debrief I do hope once that is done you will clear up the very important thong issue at hand!!

HoneyDragon · 09/08/2017 00:24

Trojan

CauliflowerSqueeze · 09/08/2017 00:23

debrief hahahhahahahahhaaaa!!! Very good, Kate!
