I think it was TB initially for tartan bunnets Grin

SauvignonBlanche · 25/01/2017 21:51

I'm full after mine. Smile

FannyFifer · 25/01/2017 20:47

Well we commemorate Burns night, it's a big thing in Scotland.
Hope everyone's enjoyed their haggis, neeps and totties.

NormaSmuff · 25/01/2017 20:44

We dont have a smilie for William Shakespeare day or commemorate it all do we?

BeyondCanSeeTheEmperorsBellend · 25/01/2017 20:39

'Bard' is Celtic in origin, so I'm gonna give RB the victory

BeyondCanSeeTheEmperorsBellend · 25/01/2017 20:33

Well if a bard is a poet, I guess it would depend on whether you consider 'the' poet to be English or Scottish Wink

Though I did laugh at baird, I think both were male!

hugoagogo · 25/01/2017 20:29

I have only ever heard Shakespeare referred to as 'the Bard', but I am happy to be corrected. Smile

I had to remind MNHQ last year too. Angry

FruSkogKattOla · 25/01/2017 20:23

But 'the bard' is William Shakespeare surely?

Smile
FruSkogKattOla · 25/01/2017 20:21

No idea. Or I can't remember. You'd have thought it would be 'rb' for Robbie Burns/Rabbie Burns.

NormaSmuff · 25/01/2017 20:20

Dragon is being saved for the weekend

We just had haggis and all the bits for dinner. It was lovely. Sadly, DS 16 and DD 15 refused to recite poetry Grin
