Why is MN so slow?

I'm not moaning - honest!

But Mumsnet s very slow - all the time. There's definitely nothing wrong with my internet, I have 200MB download and all other sites are fine.

I just wonder why this is? Are you throttled?

Apple ios - chrome, safari

Slow for me too

I blame the all-singing, all-dancing adverts

Too many things going on in the background

I use a variety:

PC - chrome, IE
Android - Chrome
Apple ios - chrome, safari

I am not using the app - just a normal browser.

MN is noticeably slower to load than a lot of other websites (including forum sites)

Hi, that sounds tedious for you - sorry to hear it's so slow. I take it you're using the app? Does the speed improve if you use a different browser?
