Why is MN so slow?

I'm not moaning - honest!

But Mumsnet s very slow - all the time. There's definitely nothing wrong with my internet, I have 200MB download and all other sites are fine.

I just wonder why this is? Are you throttled?

It might them soviets actually.... I'm sure I saw a dodgy looking woman with a laptop and shades on just outside MNHQ the other day. Proper hacker.

They haven't been hacked. It's something fundamental. Either the coding or the hosting or the adverts or both

Slow for me too. Definitely not my end, as other sites that are usually slow are way faster than MN currently.

I've had to use the app since December because the site is not working. Mumsnet have done nothing about it. I don't like the app so I haven't been on here as much.

Slow for me too today (laptop, windows 10 and chrome) I have an adblocker on, don't know if that helps or hinders

I sometimes get those weird icons when the site is loading but not all there, they change to the normal one when it is complete

Painfully slow for me too to the point of me only using the site spasmodically whereas I used to use it all day at least im doing so,eyeing constructive with my days now
I'm using mainly apple products both the app and website bad also ie

All are very very slow compared to other sites

I've got weird new icons on mine so guess they're making changes. Some are def bugs
