Shiny new thread.

Hopefully won't get derailed.

OP posts:

jacob they're keeping their mouths shut. I think after throwing it to the lions with Rebecca's comment on the other thread, I can't see much more being done. Your experience sounds like a nightmare Flowers

There is a wealth of experience and knowledge from users on this site to be utilised, what a shame HQ are so naive.

Ausernotanumber · 19/10/2016 10:21

Exactly what candy said.

Ausernotanumber · 19/10/2016 10:20

Sgo. Thank you. I have also reported a ton of my posts to try to get HQ to see but so far nada

JacobFryesTopHatLackey · 19/10/2016 10:20

Is there still nothing from HQ on this? It's like bloody groundhog day. I posted 3 or 4 threads ago. I just give up now. I'm trying to sort out arrangements with DS1s school for a new SALT since his is buggering off. DS2 has had some issues with clarity in speech and needs a SALT too. And my ADs have been doubled. Oh and DS1 trashed his room last night after getting frustrated about something. These are minor issues compared to what other parents of disabled children face and they've knocked me for 6. I really salute those of you who are still fighting the good fight on this Flowers.

auser well done HQ.

The more I think about it the more ignorant i realise Rebecca is . Exactly as Auser points out, whonexsctlyndoes shebtjink uses Supported Living?
People who need supporting.
Not discriminating against.
To be do coy and say oh it wasn't about disabilities.
Disabilities come on all guises.
The supported living thread was about INTOLERANCE,
Rebecca, I do hope you get the education and training you need.

Mozfan1 · 19/10/2016 10:04

Yeah Auser they mean it and are all for inclusion until they 'move in next door'. Fucking charlatans.

Mozfan1 · 19/10/2016 10:02

Yeah I saw that HSF

How can you forget about 1 child, utter bollocks. It's blatantly obvious the guy is an arse hole. Anyone that can defend a man like that needs a long hard look in the mirror.

HerSpookyFattyness · 19/10/2016 09:46

There's currently a thread about a child with asd not getting a present off an uncle even though the other 2 did.
There are posters saying "well he doesn't know how to handle it" and "maybe he forgot" because she has no sense of money. (Not exact quotes by the way)
He deliberately left her out, yet there are posters defending him. A lot more saying it's not right and to pull him up on it though to be fair.

Ausernotanumber · 19/10/2016 09:46

I don't know Moz. It is so bloody offensive to have that guest post sitting there it's a big fat slap in the face. They don't mean it.

Mozfan1 · 19/10/2016 09:42

The constant referring to this children as 'the SEN kid' fucks me right off aswell.

Mozfan1 · 19/10/2016 09:42

How can they claim to give a shit about cuts to children's services whe they let it stand that people openly discuss the fact that there is no way they would buy a property where young people with LD or other challenging circumstances will live also. It makes no sense!!!!!

Ausernotanumber · 19/10/2016 09:39

Well. I've put it directly on the guest post thread AND reported my own post on that thread to see if I can get an answer.

Ausernotanumber · 19/10/2016 09:31

How can they not see the disconnect between the guest post and that buying a house next to thread?

You can't have what Rebecca said on that thread standing with the guest post. Not unless there is a massive amount of hypocrisy going on.

Ausernotanumber · 19/10/2016 09:28

Exactly my point Moz.

But he ho. As long as mn looks right on, eh?

Mozfan1 · 19/10/2016 09:28

HSF the bitches of eastwick were prevalent on that thread. It was fucking brutal to say the least. As if a child that has DS won't experience enough discrimination throughout their life.

The hypocrisy of the sponsored thread is ridiculous. All I can hear in the back of my head is 'not on my doorstep...'

HerSpookyFattyness · 19/10/2016 09:23

Shock I clearly missed that thread! Why the fuck would you exclude a child from a party because they have DS? What the hell?
One of the funniest kids I know has DS and she would liven up any party. She's brilliant. She also happens to support the same rugby league team as me so she's pretty awesome Wink (I volunteer in a nursery 2 days a week, she goes to the school the nursery is attached to and I was working in holiday club over the summer.)

Ausernotanumber · 19/10/2016 09:16

*of we are so inclusive

Ausernotanumber · 19/10/2016 09:16

If that is how it going to be then the fake concern guest posts shout raising awareness and the stance if we are so inclusive we are concerned about the vulnerable and those with no voice that HQ have needs to stop.

If this is how it's going to be HQ why not own it? Make it what you are. Be clear and unambiguous

Ilovehedgehogs · 19/10/2016 09:14

It won't change, it never will Sad

Ausernotanumber · 19/10/2016 09:14

The reason I'm saying that is that there has been action taken deleting another thread this morning and we haven't heard a peep from HQ.

Ausernotanumber · 19/10/2016 09:13

We are CLEARLY being ignored here.
