This is a huge part of the problem though, it is so fucking wearing trying to get the point across that people just give up for the sake of their own sanity and the forum is left in the hands of the disablist wankers and newcomers who want support are left fucking bewildered at the ignorance - so the cycle continues.

Fanjo has been on here in various forms for many years, I have no doubt she will be back just more disguised to hide from the bullies, it shouldn't have to be this way.

Think HQ benefit from training on this or employing someone with greater knowledge least short term. We don't expect them to be experts but by now hope they would get training or someone who knows their stuff to support them.

I got so much support here as a new mum, with general baby stuff, toddler stuff, school stuff, dealing with a sick child, dealing with my own illness. I came back to mn recently to find support re son's disability dx. My God, I'm shocked at what MMHQ are doing.
This site has gone absolutely down the toilet. There's still some amazing posters and I'm grateful they are here, but fucking hell, HQ.

I'm disgusted by MMHQ wrt their lack of support on this. Well, not lack of support, it's more wilful blindness.
They act quickly if they think it might involve litigation eg the murder story in the news, but they clearly don't give a shit about casual disabilism.

Auser sorry, my defence of our stance was quite shit tbh. You're much better at this. The shit stirring just isn't going to stop by the looks of things.

We should not be having to spell out indirect discrimination to an organisation like mumsnet. We should not be having to explain this. There are legal protects in place. Why are they not being abided by HQ?
