Morning all,

Early this morning we released an update for our iOS Talk app and thought we'd give you a heads-up about it.

There is now a search function so you can now search every thread on Mumsnet Talk from within the app.

This update also includes bug fixes for a number of issues that were reported by you - thanks for your feedback.

Let us know what you think and thanks for all of you feedback so far.

Sorry - that refers to the latter point you made.

acat

Could that be due to the update though? (Anything prior to that seems to show as unread for me - until I go into it.)

acatcalledjohn · 10/10/2016 23:08

Same for me, current threads don't highlight new posts at all, but all my old and read watched threads show as though there are new posts on those when that clearly isn't the case.

cozietoesie · 10/10/2016 21:54

Sorry, popp. I should have clarified that it's doing it for me on threads I haven't put on Watch.

cozietoesie · 10/10/2016 21:52

There seems to be a problem with all threads in showing new posts with some distinguishing factor. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. (More often they don't.) I sense there's a pattern but it's not jumping out at me right away.

poppopp · 10/10/2016 21:07

Since the new update my "watched" threads don't appear in bold when there are new posts on them.

I take it that there's no filter for the search? (Board, date etc.)

Bitoutofpractise - if you check the App Store now, it should be available as an update. It won't happen automatically unless you've got your phone plugged in (I believe).

BitOutOfPractice · 10/10/2016 09:29

It's not showing as an update on my phone yet but thanks for the update. Search function will be very useful Flowers
