Picture of a woman giving a blow job with tag line 'your girlfriend will never know'

Was minding my own business reading a thread in chat!

I know this has been experienced by other users, any closer to a fix?

Hi kali110
Those ads you are referring to are our native ads.

I am not sure what the text is, can you report that to - [email protected] with all the details, who the text was from and a screenshot of it if possible and we will look into it ASAP.

I've been having lots of issues with redirections to competition pages, etc, but only when on MN. Luckily, I haven't been redirected to any porn sites; but it's already put me off using MN and I've cut down my usage quite a bit. It's very annoying and I'm worried about accidently downloading a virus or some other malware. Really hope you can sort this issue out once and for all.

kali110 · 21/10/2016 11:04

Could you also tell me how i've recieved a text message about a thread i'm reading when ypu don't have my phone number?????

kali110 · 21/10/2016 11:03

Hi kali110

You are referring to the Ebay ad, those are our native ad units.
You should not see them everytime and there should be a cap in place, I will look into why that is not working.

The Frugal Thread in Credit Crunch has redirected me to;

Brokenteens.net
Fling.com
And another porn site that I didn't catch the name of...

Grim! Sad

Will keep you posted.
Sorry.

This has happened to me twice! Last night I had the same as Marzi with a pop up saying I need to download something because I have a virus.

And another one saying I have a virus and need to download something. Once again just loaded with no prompting, halfway down the page.

I had it earlier but forgot to take screenshots.

AUTO redirect when I was in the middle of reading a thread!

Sorry tech team, but I really hope you are able to sort out this issue. My DH is an infosec expert so these kind of security vulnerabilities put me off using MN... I've never had this sort of thing with any other major reputable website. From what I remember the previous big hack originated from a man-in-the-middle attack...?!

Stinkray · 18/10/2016 19:19

Just a minute ago been inundated with page after page of it whilst reading the thread in relationships about the 19 year old boy/fifty-something year old obsessed woman.

Marzipants · 18/10/2016 19:09

Just got it the blow job one on the one about giving a baby the kiss of life.

It seems to be called Snap fuck. Looks like snapchat but it's pornographic, diverted from a chat thread onto it.
