Is it that it's hacked? Or is it that mumsnet gave them permission/were paid lots to have those adverts/ or an advertising agreement gone wrong? As in should we be concerned for the security of the site again?

Pomtastic · 25/09/2016 07:31

Not just me then! Had intermittently over last week or so & repeatedly over last 12 hrs - to the extent that I currently can't really use MN on my phone (android)

RaspberryIce · 25/09/2016 07:02

And again

RaspberryIce · 25/09/2016 00:10

Just had it again

DawnMumsnet · 24/09/2016 22:45

So sorry that these ads are popping up again.

The screen shots are really helpful, many thanks for taking the time to post them.

We've got our Ads team back on the case, will let you know as soon as we have some news.

Fevertree · 24/09/2016 20:28

Finally took screen shots!

Yes, me too - AT&T when I was in the US, and BT when in the UK - and only on Mumsnet. Closing the browser and then opening it again cancels it.

HeyBells · 24/09/2016 19:48

Aaagh just happened again. Not plusnet but "infonet" from memory link same/sim address as posted above. Also on Samsung

HeyBells · 24/09/2016 19:43

Got this earlier today as well. Using chrome on Android phone. Redirected to plusnet questions.

lougle · 24/09/2016 19:30

This is the one I got. I've had lots though.

It happened again just now.
This was in the address bar...
s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/latestnewsandspecials/mobile/index.html?sid=4#b
Using the mobile site on a Samsung s4 mini (chrome)

BurnTheBlackSuit · 24/09/2016 16:07

I have got these yesterday and today on my android mobile phone, and quoting my broadband provider (EE) (not my mobile provider).

I deleted all web data on my phone after that.

Please sort MN.

liquidrevolution · 24/09/2016 16:02

Yep. Have had this on and off for a while. It's rubbish.

FATEdestiny · 24/09/2016 15:57

I got this again today, after it leaving me alone for a couple of weeks

MyCatIsABiggerBastardThanYours · 24/09/2016 15:52

The bastard is back!

And news MN?

froubylou · 24/09/2016 07:45

Me too over the last few weeks. Android using Chrome.

RaspberryIce · 24/09/2016 07:35

Just had this again too. Last time I had it was exactly one week ago. (Sat am)

Kpo58 · 24/09/2016 07:32

I keep getting them too. Just have. Is something going to be done about this spam?

ScarfForAGiraffe · 19/09/2016 08:37

Yup. Me too. Getting fed up with mumsnet as have to close the tab mid reading as no other way to close it.

Out of curiosity are these adverts really from Virgin/plusnet etc. Is it part of spam advertising or is it all fake?

ApplesinmyPocket · 19/09/2016 08:33

Having this too. Android, Chrome.

Sleepingonthebus · 19/09/2016 08:19

Me too. Android on mobile site with Chrome. Keeps freezing me completely and I have to restart my phone. I have anti virus.

ClopySow · 19/09/2016 08:12

Me too, sky rewards one on my mobile. I have sky broadband.

incogKNEEto · 19/09/2016 07:46

Still happening here too. It won't let me go off the page back to mumsnet either l have to close down whole tab and reload mumsnet, really irritating.

SorrelForbes · 19/09/2016 07:44

Just happened now. Redirection to a message about Virgin media.

SomethingAboutNothing · 19/09/2016 07:43

I thought this was my phone! It's been happening to me intermittently for a month or so. Also Android phone.
