You never used to delete threads because the poster got arsey when things wasn't going their way!

Protect their privacy my back side. There was nothing to be protected

They never used to delete things at the posters request

When I first started and I called my son a knob out of sheer frustration (new baby, didn't sleep, I was exhausted) I got ripped to shreds. Really proper abuse.

I was in tears and requested to have it deleted. This was before I knew it wasn't the done thing

They replied and said whilst we sympathise with you and that it's clear it was distressing me, unless it was it against talk guidelines or breached a privacy issue, they don't delete threads

Yeah I hadn't even got through reading the insults at my "girls will be girls and boys will be boys" comment. Grin

I'm not raising my son to be an oppressor though... he just likes guns and tractors.

Agree - there was no privacy to be protected at all. OP asked for the thread to be deleted because everyone thought she was a dick.

Can you at least state on the threads 'OP didn't like the way the thread was going so we deleted it'?

ChardonnayKnickertonSmythe · 06/09/2016 22:07

There were no privacy issues there.
OP just didn't get the answers she wanted.
