I have reported this thread a number of times and it has been up for hours - please can you delete it now! This is ridiculous

Duchess are you only witnessing it? I am actually commiting it.

CrazyDuchess · 16/09/2016 20:22

Judy - to be honest the other posters was totally the minority in this situation.

Loads of people called the OP out on that thread, black white green and purple.

What was great was every one pulled together to get the post deleted..... shame about MNHQ very slow response

OP posts:
Vixxfacee · 16/09/2016 20:21

I think that's why we commit so many crimes against each other. All that anger.

JudyCoolibar · 16/09/2016 20:19

Just to be clear, Muffy, I and I suspect a very large number of white women on MN also find racist threads like the one in question highly offensive.

CrazyDuchess · 16/09/2016 20:18

Next post - "why are so many black people so ANGRY"

"Why do they have such attitude problems"

Probably all the black on black crime we've had to witness in our lives, our poor poor lives

OP posts:
CrazyDuchess · 16/09/2016 20:16

Lol - what's funny is I am totally not angry - tired and a little bored but def not angry - yesterday I was Angry today I am feeling more Halo

Vixxfacee · 16/09/2016 20:14

Duchess she thinks your angry. I wonder if she will say a chip on your shoulder next or an attitude problem Grin

wombattoo · 16/09/2016 20:11

Dothedance You are protesting that you didn't mean to cause offence and that you are not racist. People are telling you that they found your post to be offensive and racist. Instead of coming and arguing with people, would it not be more appropriate for you to apologise for the offence that you obviously have caused?

CrazyDuchess · 16/09/2016 20:03

Must be all that gang-activity I am into Grin

OP posts:
CrazyDuchess · 16/09/2016 20:01

you must lead such a challenging life to be so utterly angry

Why yes I do - thank you for recognising that Flowers

OP posts:
CrazyDuchess · 16/09/2016 20:01

I never expected you to agree. You don't consider your post racist. A number of us found it racist there is no further discussion to be had.

No I can't - but your issue is not in relation to a site stuff.

This post is about MNHQ response to racist post - frankly I don't care how you perceived your post, but your post made me, and quite a few others, upset angry and as I said MNHQ agreed it should have been pulled earlier.

Seriously I have no energy or desire to get into it with you again.

This is where a hide poster function would come in so handy right now

OP posts:
Vixxfacee · 16/09/2016 19:57

Well said Muffy. The fact it is still here trying to provoke says it all about their motives.

MuffyTheUmpireSlayer · 16/09/2016 19:55

It could well be a minority of posters, because we are the minority that are being targeted in your racists threads. The majority of MNers are typically white women, so of course it is going to be a minority that are offended. Why would the majority of MNers need to be offended? They may not agree with you, but there's no need for them to be offended by it because it's not them being attacked.

There is no agenda. The only person with an agenda was you dance.

I love that you're now claiming you're being "bullied". YOU were racist, YOU continued to be racist after being called out on it, YOUR thread was deleted, YOU chose to come back on here, yet you're the one being bullied? Pull the other one, sweetheart.

CrazyDuchess · 16/09/2016 19:54

I have reported the poster and hope MNHQ can have a word with it and tell it to go away

question may have been interpreted as racist, however can't see how that is, unless you're a serially offended delicate flower

I am not a serially offended delicate flower. I am a black woman and I object to sweeping offensive generalisations about my race being made hidden in faux ignorance.

Oh please stop with this "inverted racist" bullshit. CALLING YOU OUT ON YOUR RACISM IS NOT RACIST. Jesus Christ, if you really can't understand that then I just don't know how you get through day to day life.

What Mumsnet has shown me is just how many people either hold racist views or are so used to casual racism that they don't even acknowledge it as a "thing". Since noticing on MN, I've also been noticing it in real life. The same MN-types that I come across at work, at DD's activities, anywhere, often make sweeping statements or brush racism off as "not a big deal". It's just so normal to some people.

The fact that we are being told we're both "delicate flowers" and "inverted racists" (how we can be both I do not know Hmm) for calling out racist shitbags just proves that.

CrazyDuchess · 16/09/2016 19:48

I'm with Vixx - clearly the moderators they currently have cannot recognise racism - so that needs to be addressed

A small minority of posters trying to set an agenda

Nope just a small minority of posters fed up of being treated badly. As you can see from this post this is a problem that predates your ill-informed post.

As you can also see MN agreed it should have taken your post down much faster.

So really just go away and if you have an issue as I said yesterday go start your own thread and leave us "small minorities" alone

Peace & love
