Been on other sites and posts have a like option. Think it's a good way to highlight good advice.
Also makes it more interactive, especially if likes are then viewable on your account.
One to think about for future updates to the forum if not previously considered.

That is an excellent use of the Tennis, Zombie. I'd never thought of that.

Could we just maybe have a few interns starting various topical threads and then we just have a serious of response buttons and smileys?

It would save so much time not having to write anything at all.

southeastastra · 01/05/2016 23:03

noo

^ this^ is also very lazy and crap

bibbitybobbityyhat · 01/05/2016 23:02

I cba either.

Have whatever anyone wants ...

IamtheZombie · 01/05/2016 22:59

Zombie supposes one could always channel his or her inner John McEnroe and simply post Tennis for "You cannot be serious".

WaitrosePigeon · 01/05/2016 22:56

But yes we may be asking for too much

WaitrosePigeon · 01/05/2016 22:56

Goady fucker, even better

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 01/05/2016 22:54

I suppose the 'goady fucker' , 'journalist' and 'troll' buttons would be too much to ask for.

BIWI · 01/05/2016 22:51

You can always just post 'like'
Grin

WaitrosePigeon · 01/05/2016 22:46

A twat button would be great

Ooh yes an 'I'm judging you' button would be good.

We could also eliminate all the bunfight arguments on AIBU by just having YABU, YANBU and IHNO (I have no opinion) buttons.

ShowOfHands · 30/04/2016 09:31

I cba either. A judge button would suffice.

It really isn't that type of forum.

Some of us likes it see what I did there because people actually talk to each other and share their own opinions.

It's not a popularity contest.

Sparklingbrook · 29/04/2016 20:45

I am over wanting the Hide Poster function any more. I ignore them now. It's actually ok. Grin

I would like a timed edit function for thread titles but that's it.

ShowOfHands · 29/04/2016 20:41

Words one clickadoodledoo nil

No to quotes too before that gets mentioned. Or hide poster. Or an edit function.

WaitrosePigeon · 29/04/2016 20:38

Thank god it's still a no.

Sparklingbrook · 29/04/2016 19:11

I like old fashioned. Smile It's Mumsnet 'Talk' after all.

DawnMumsnet · 29/04/2016 18:29

Thanks for posting that quote, Zombie Smile

Sorry, Mamabear. Call us old-fashioned (or obtuse, even!) but the consensus has always been, and appears to remain, overwhelmingly against a 'like' button.

FruStefanOla · 29/04/2016 16:42

Gordon Bennett - not this one again
