Would it be an idea to have a like/dislike button on posts? It would save SO much hot air and posting and reposting from people.

Also, is it possible please to link to other posters when you post? As an "@" button?

If you are seriously even considering a 'like' button, you might as well shut the site down and tell everyone that Mumsnet can be accessed via Facebook or Twitter.

I like that there is no like button.

What's the point of a chat site if all people do is press like. How little effort do some people want to make.
