MNHQ are quoting what other posters were saying on the thread, Deirdre.

It's not bullying either - did you see the thread in question? Did you see what the OP posted? Posters were giving back to the OP in the same terms she used to everyone else - I realise that "2 wrongs don't make a right" but please don't try and make a victim out of this particular poster.

DeirdreDoo · 25/11/2015 08:10

I actually disagree, I think it makes it very personal and even though I fully understand why the poster was deleted, warned, and so on, I think it is really important that MNHQ play the ball, not the player and this crosses ever so slightly into the latter.

So no, I'm not going to celebrate a message that borders on bullying someone who for all we know, didn't quite understand what they were doing wrong.

I'm not on their side, far from it - but this makes me uneasy. I don't do point and laugh unless someone is clearly malicious, clearly has poor intentions and fully deserves it.

I'm really not sure this is the case here.

(sorry)

That's a good one Grin and thanks for posting op - it makes me Angry that deleted threads just disappear from the app so you don't see the message.

Pancakeflipper · 24/11/2015 16:14

Keep flicking off the bell-meanies MN. Thank you.

GruntledOne · 24/11/2015 16:11

Nice one.

Though I agree, I found it quite encouraging that MN are prepared to jump on people who are unpleasant for the sake of it, and I think it doesn't hurt that that fact was publicised.

I'd noticed that deletion messages lately have been a bit blah. Not at all like the old school MN ones that would raise a titter.
Star to the person at HQ who wrote this one.

And very glad that PigletJohn's post was reinstated.
