Can I reply to MNHQ e-mail?

I had an e-mail from MNHQ and wanted to reply so did. Can I reply via e-mail or should I send a PM to the MNHQer in question via PM over MN?

Now now dont you know I wrote Rebecca a truly amazjng ditty earlier. She gave me a clap for it, but I posted thanks for the clap and we ended up being in the Daily Fail for tomorrow the special Halloween edition will say Mn staff and posters at gum clinic

Anyway to quell your nosiness: Rebecca asked me on a date but I already have a casual thing going with Olivia and Dawn has felt caught in the middle so e-mailed me to sort it all out as she's feeling kinda awkward at work because of it all.
