I thought this was worth bringing to the fore again.

Is anyone else having trouble? It took me a while to figure out what was happening yesterday on a certain thread and by the time I realised, I had already wasted a lot of time and effort in trying to engage.

Why aren't people who do this deliberately stopped from posting?

hiding thread is ok, but if you are already engaged in a thread, why should you? it means often the OP is the the one who is hurt and the GF wins

Yes in the absence of hide poster.

I want to prevent others from getting involved though once I know someone is out to fuck around.

I think reporting has to be the way to deal with it, MNHQ then has a chance to spot a pattern, if there is one and can deal with it.

Either that or utilise the Hide Thread function.

They just ruin the whole point of MN for a lot of people! There was one who I am pretty sure stalked me on here for a while Confused seemed to pop up on every thread that I was on and start with their controversial bullshit, in an attempt to bait me...I ended up name changing and taking a break from MN for a while, and the nobber hasn't had a pop since I came back...unless they have name changed again or finally been banned by MNHQ Hmm

Please someone give me a hint who it is, I'm so rubbish at picking gf up. I feel like everyone is in an inner circle with threads like these, and I'm on the outside peering over the fence with no idea what's going on or who everyone is talking about. A PM would be lovely Smile
