Mrs Grinch, actually you're right - most threads regarding access disputes are FILLED with folk arguing for a child's right to see their dad, plus the dad's rights too.

It pisses me off sometimes when it's clearly inappropriate but there is most definitely no general leaning toward anti-father stuff. No way jose

WhyBeHappyWhenYouCouldBeNormal · 20/08/2015 21:25

yes - the @segw is the civil servants account mentioned in the mirror article, I don't really understand how its linked - however I think the civil servant in question might currently be on paternity leave, or his wife has recently had a baby or something so its not a million leagues removed? its really sad, as the account has lots of pictures of his children and wife on it still... I think the mirror account said they'd reported it to police?

Yonic Grin

Neouf yes this one has been active a while. Not sure why they are not closing it down

FishOn · 20/08/2015 21:22

Grin oh stephanie that really made me laugh

SouthWestmom · 20/08/2015 21:21

It's weird. It looks like he's hacked a Twitter account @segw_
I don't get it at all

WhyBeHappyWhenYouCouldBeNormal · 20/08/2015 21:19

I guess you can't really message those mumsnetters affected, if the people have stolen their details?

Maybe contact MNHQ, Juniper using the contactus email and addressing it FAO etc? They probably already have police contacts set up so could zip it through.

StephanieBeacham · 20/08/2015 21:15

If not then email mumsnet with URGENT for TECH in the subject line

AttitcusFinchIsMyFather · 20/08/2015 21:14

Juniper, I think someone found that thread earlier & informed MNHQ who then informed the police.

StephanieBeacham · 20/08/2015 21:14

Juniper if it's 8 chan then we know already.

Juniper404 · 20/08/2015 21:12

I've found a web forum where people (read: a load of teenage boys) are openly discussing this. They are taking responsibility for it, and are referencing users of this site that they've stolen details from.

I have emailed MNHQ but, the more I read, the more I think it's a police matter.

Does anyone know how I can report the site to the police? I looked on the Met Police website but it doesn't really fit the bill (no pun intended).

I'm not going to link to the page as they're reading these threads.

Though I do wonder if dadsec has ever actually hadsecs

or if he has, was it particularly bad_secs which might have made him ashamed and therefore resentful

Maybe he's hap_less

I am henceforth putting an underscore in EVERY_THING

msgrinch · 20/08/2015 21:11

Oh wow, mumsnet is one of the most pro father access I've come across! Jeffrey (or whoever) listen stop this ridiculousness against mumsnet, they're not the enemy. I say this as a mother who gave residency to my son's father when I was struggling, every mumsnetter here supported that. Most threads where access is concerned favour equal rights. This has all got so silly now. It's time to stop putting mnhq through hell, make your point in court if access to your children is what you want. All you are doing is making it worse for yourself. It sucks to be away from your kid, I know that feeling! But this isn't the answer, posters on here are not the enemy. Think about it.

Evilpixie · 20/08/2015 21:10

So should it be or mines in the first on safari but I use the app mainly

howtorebuild · 20/08/2015 21:09

How do they expect to gain residency of the children, whilst in Prison?

Pipbin · 20/08/2015 21:08

Did you call it Tired or are you still looking for a working phone box?

Friend of Jeffrey is not a dad but thought it all seemed the right thing to do so....er yeah.

WhyBeHappyWhenYouCouldBeNormal · 20/08/2015 21:04

just saw your response to the poster BabCNesbitt, you're probably right. Just being hyper vigilant about EVERYTHING now!

cozietoesie · 20/08/2015 21:04

I would be guessing that they went - before they were really ready - to try to pre-empt the Ashley Madison hack which must have been rumoured on the circuit. Now they have to keep the pot boiling to keep the troops happy.

Devilishpyjamas · 20/08/2015 21:03

Where's his song?

WhyBeHappyWhenYouCouldBeNormal · 20/08/2015 21:02

a previous poster mentioned the getting an email from a popular train company asking us to change passwords... i got that too and not sure if its legit or not. i'm not doing anything about it at present... I'm hoping it is legit, but certainly wouldn't click on any links at the moment...

"Remember, passwords should be like underwear: changed often and never shared!" seems a bit odd for Virgin, no?

StephanieBeacham · 20/08/2015 21:02

No the mate isn't a father. Apparently they have around 100 members Hmm and some a re dads and some are involved in custody/access disputes. all according the world's most reliable red top.

cozietoesie · 20/08/2015 21:00

Race and women.

Theydontknowweknowtheyknow · 20/08/2015 20:59
