WHY have you got rid of All On One Page?

You too Val - have you got it set to take you to most recent post first?

O'm having issues clicking on any thread longer than one page, from Active convos.

It takes me straight to the end of the thread, however many pages that is - not a lot of help if I am trying to read a thread from the beginning!

I'm on a Mac, OSX 10.6.8, Safari, Desktop site.

OK - so sounds like you might be better off adjusting your settings so that you're loading oldest post first, not most recent? (Assuming you've got it vice versa at the moment)

I don't like this 500 posts thing , not one bit

That does rather seem to be the consensus

And if everyone absolutely continues to hate it then we will of course have another think

BUT

please remember that we did this to improve loading times not just for people on long threads but for absolutely everyone

So we're taking away but we're also givething

Albeit in a manner that has thoroughly annoyed absolutely everyone

iPad iOS 7.0.4 Safari - I go to the first post on the merchandise thread. (And I am customised to read like a book)
Threads I'm on is working correctly for me though, taking me to the post I've clicked on

We have a plan for making all the apps massively better but it's a slow process. For now, you're really better off using the mobile site.

OK so if we fix the TIO and TIW links (thanks ShamTech Flowers)

the major remaining issue is: wanting to see the most recent posts but not be permanently set to 'most recent post first' - yes?

Or are there other things?

I clicked on this thread from Active without being logged in. It took me to page 6, straight down to the last post.

Am using IE8

OK settings:

Right down the bottom of the page - just above the 'Shortcuts' menu - menu running across the page beginning with the word 'Talk' - hit 'Customise'

Scroll down to 'Other options'

You can change 'Reading direction', 'Messages per page' (up to 500, cough cough) and - if you're not on Classic - 'Display bookmark links'

Just make an option under 500 posts for 1000 posts.

That change should only take a few minutes to do since it doesn't change the structure.
